TrueConform
Honest compliance beats a widget that gets you sued
- Who it's for
- Owners of online shops and the agencies that build them — businesses trading into the EU or the US that are now inside the reach of the European Accessibility Act and the ADA.
- The problem it solves
- Accessibility law arrived with real financial exposure, and the one-line 'overlay widget' most sites bought is legally discredited — the FTC fined the largest vendor $1M in 2025. Owners are left knowing they have a legal problem, with no honest read on what is actually broken or what to publish.
TrueConform is the honest end of the accessibility market. It reports exactly what an automated scan can find — roughly 30–40% of WCAG issues — and never claims one-click compliance, because that specific claim is what the FTC punished. The free scan and statement generator work as a real diagnostic; monitoring watches for regressions after you fix them. TrueConform AI Act Scan, at ai.trueconform.com, applies the same approach to EU AI Act readiness.
Latest release 1.0·August 1, 2026

What it does
Scan any URL against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA using axe-core — the same engine audit firms use — and get plain-English issues with code-level fixes, ranked by severity. Then generate the EAA / EN 301 549 accessibility statement you are required to publish.
Why it's different
- Real axe-core audit — the engine accessibility firms actually use
- States its own limits: automated scanning finds 30–40% of issues, and it says so
- Generates the accessibility statement the EAA and EN 301 549 expect
